Welcome CISE Students!

 

To be eligible for a CISE Department Student Award (Curriculum and Instruction, Elementary Education, English Education, Foreign Language Education, Gifted Education, Health & PE Education, Instructional Technology, Mathematics Education, Reading Education, Science Education, Social Studies Education, and Special Education), students must be nominated through either the self-nomination or faculty nomination process.

 

Please note that all recipients of scholarships and fellowships must be enrolled full time for at least two semesters in the upcoming year – Summer & Fall; Summer, Fall, & Spring; or Fall & Spring semesters to receive funding. If a recipient is not qualified for the upcoming academic year, the scholarship/fellowship will not be awarded and held over for the following year. Students applying for a scholarship/fellowship administered through Alumni Hall must be a full time student during the Fall & Spring semester to receive funding.

It is highly recommended that all students review CISE Scholarship and Fellowship Criteria prior to completing the self-nomination application. 
 

If you wish to self-nominate or have been notified that you have been nominated for a CISE Department Scholarship, Fellowship or Award, please follow the steps below:

1. To submit your application you will need to complete the following CISE Student Resume & Information form. Applicants are responsible for reviewing the award criteria, completing the application as thoroughly as possible and meeting the application deadline.

2. Upon complete submission of the application form, all self-nominated students will require an endorsement from a Curry faculty member. You must provide the name of your advisor or a faculty member in the application form. **Please make sure the faculty member or advisor listed is aware of your self-nomination. 

Self-nomination applications are due by December 20th, 2017.
